We would like all the Volunteers and Bands to try and make it down to join us in celebratory thank you Drink and Buffet for helping us raise over £100,000 over the last 8 years evening starts from 19:00.
We broke the barrier, thanks to all those who’ve donated and been apart of this amazing event
Tickets are going well for this year’s Drakefest. You still have time to get yours before the weekend and avoid the queue.
This year we are looking to raise money for some worthy charities; Sam’s Haven and Hannah’s Holiday are local charities who give respite holidays and support for families of very poorly children and teenagers. Our two other charities are McMillan Cancer Support and Breast Cancer Care. Over the past 7 years we have raised just over £92,000 for charity through Drakefest and we are all hoping this year we can pass the £100,000 mark, which would be a great achievement for a small local pub and community .
So get down here this weekend, it’s promising to be a great weekend. We have the Mayor of Portsmouth here on Saturday to open the show at 13:00. There is something here for everyone; a great family weekend with fairground rides, bouncy castle, face painting, magic show each day at 14:00, Rock School, stalls, food, ice cream, kids’ corner and we also have some Disney Characters to get your picture taken with.
We have an amazing array of music from Folk and Rock to Soul, Funk and Mod. Not to mention an amazing Pink Floyd Tribute with an amazing laser show.
This looks to be the best Drakefest ever, but it needs you guys to make it awesome, so come on down this weekend and help us break the £100,000 total. You wont be disappointed.

After counting all the pennies the grand total for this is £13,000. The cheque presentation, will be at the end of the month, Sunday the 30th. Would be great to see everyone down there.

We’re still looking for volunteers, so if you could help out, even for a few hours, get in touch or come to the meeting next Monday
Next weeks meeting will be all about the charities, if you have one you would like to put forward, this will be the time and place to do so. The following week there will be a vote to decide on which ones to support.
